My Unmotivated Run

The snow was falling, the ground and trails had a nice blanket of white, and the temperature was winter like. I don't like to be negative more than 50% of the time, so the plus for my adventure was it was on trail, it was beautiful out side, and I ran some of the nicest spots in Mohican.
I ran the Mohican 100 orange loop minus the grist mill(15.5 mi.). Saw three deer. The rest was me and nature.
I must say, that warmer climates for winter might be a plus. Hawaii was nice with minimal swings in temperatures. I think I could handle 60-70's in the winter and 70-80's in the summer. Or I could become a snow bird and live in Florida in the winter. Oh well, things will be better tomorrow.
I did notice one thing that concerned me on the run. Between mile 4 to mile 1 on the bike trail, the forest has marked new boundaries. Those are the yellow paint blazes on the trees, denoting state forest and private property boundaries. The concern is the bike trail travels through those lines.
So does that mean bike trail is actually on private property? Will that mean the bike trail will be rerouted, surely reducing the distance? Let's hope not till after the Mohican Trail 100.

That's interesting. I think I know where you are talking about.
